Ethan Turner

Ethan holds a B.S. in Computer Science from UC Davis. As a student there, Ethan joined the team as a student "harvester", working to continually expand LibreTexts' catalog of Open Educational Resources. Over time, he continued to take on larger responsibilities and initiatives to expand and improve LibreTexts' existing technology portfolio.

As CTO, he combines his software engineering experience in the private sector and his extensive knowledge of the LibreTexts project to drive the overall goals of the development team. He aims to bring the latest technology and features to LibreTexts's expanding body of users and readers while ensuring strategic long-term stability and scalability.
