Preeti Chitre

Preeti has a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Calpoly Pomona. She has worked in research and was instrumental in developing automation interfaces for various industrial measuring instruments in the 1990s.

Her association with Libretexts was rather coincidental. While scouring the internet for some reliable resources for STEM for her kids, Preeti came across the earlier version(Stemwiki) of Libretexts. She was very impressed by the project. A few months later, she received a listserv email from Delmar that was sent to the parents and students of UC Davis introducing them to the Stemwiki project. This sealed the deal and started Preeti’s decade long association with Libretexts.

Today Preeti is an integral part of Libretexts Team and serves as a Director of Harvesting and Integration.
