What are LibreFest and OctoberFest?
We have found that there are two times in the year where faculty are excited to think hard about their course design and their textbook choices:
- In the summer when they are motivated to change things and put in the hours to revamp their courses before Fall.
- Shortly after the Fall semester begins and we all remember why we wanted to change things before Fall started and are wondering what tools could help make our courses better!

LibreFest: 3 days of extensive workshops
If you want a chance to get a jumpstart on the LibreVerse and all of it's tools - attend our intensive LibreFest in the summer! This is typically hosted virtually around early to mid July. Keep a look out in our Newsletters and on our News and Events page for updates!
OctoberFest: Crash Course in the LibreVerse
In one day we wil walk through the main points of what is normally covered in the LibreFest meeting. This has less hands-on work time, but is condensed to make use of the time during the busy Fall season for faculty. This is an excellent opportunity to get an idea of the resources we have and start to attend our Monthly Free Webinars to get ready for spending a summer of course development.
