Creating Content in ADAPT
Creating A Course and Corresponding Assignment
Once you have created your ADAPT account you're ready to start creating content. You can begin by creating a course and a corresponding assignment. Here is a step-by-step guide for creating a course and an assignment in ADAPT:
Step 1: Create a new course. The first step is to create a new course. To do this, go to the "Courses" tab and click on the "Create New Course" button.
Step 2: Create a new assignment. Once you have created a new course, you will need to create a new assignment. To do this, go to the "Assignments" tab and click on the "Create New Assignment" button.
Step 3: Add questions to the assignment. You can add questions to the assignment by clicking on the "Add Questions" button. You can either create new questions or choose from a library of existing questions.
Step 4: Create new questions. To create a new question, click on the "Create New Question" button. You will be prompted to enter the question text, the correct answer, and any incorrect answers. You can also add images, videos, and other media to your questions.
Step 5: Clone questions. If you find a question that you like in another course, you can clone it. To do this, click on the "Clone Question" button.
Step 6: Choose a question type. There are several different types of questions that you can create in ADAPT. These include multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, and essay questions.
Step 7: Use toggle switches. Toggle switches allow you to control student access to questions and answers. For example, you can hide the correct answer until after the due date.
Step 8: Use other features. ADAPT also has other features that you can use to build questions. For example, you can search for questions by keyword or browse other people's courses.
Once your assignment is ready, you can assign an assignment to your students by sharing the assignment link with them. You can do this by clicking on the Share Assignment button and copying the link.
To grade student assignments, click on the Grade Assignments tab. From here, you can view student submissions and grade them.
To provide feedback to students, you can add comments to their submissions. You can also use ADAPT's built-in rubric feature to provide feedback on specific criteria.
Remember the control panel is a tool that can be used to manage your assignments. The control panel allows you to view the status of your assignments, edit your assignments, and delete your assignments.
