The LibreTexts team is happy to announce that this year's annual LibreFest will be held virtually on July 17, 19, and 21, 2023.
Part of the LibreTexts' mission has always been to increase access to, and visibility of open educational resources (OER). Since our inception in 2008, the LibreTexts platform has grown to encompass over half a million pages of OER content that can be freely accessed online 24/7 from anywhere in the world. While users have always been able to find us online, we were not always visible in online library catalogs which may or may not include OER and/or open access resources as part of their regular indexing and cataloging processes.
LibreTexts is pleased to announce we will once again be co-sponsoring the 3rd annual Cal OER conference to be held virtually Wednesday, August 2 through Friday, August 4.

LibreTexts Project Announces Partnership with Open RN/Next Gen RN Project
Partnership utilizes a customized instance of LibreTexts open homework system, ADAPT, so faculty can create formative, openly licensed assessments for nursing students
[DAVIS, CA, March 6, 2023]
The LibreTexts team is excited to announce that we have been awarded $4 million over the next four years from the California Education Learning Lab (CELL) to significantly scale up ADAPT, the open homework and learning system built to complement the texts in our libraries and enhance the utility of the greater LibreVerse. This support will expand ADAPT into a powerful and expansive open-source infrastructure for educators to access and for direct use in student assessment and learning activities.

Join the LibreTexts team as we host a new series of webinars for OpenEd Week, March 6-10, 2023. All sessions will be synchronous and recorded for later viewing on our YouTube channel. Registration is not required. Account creation in one or more LibreTexts Libraries is strongly encouraged prior to some sessions as noted on the schedule. Schedule is subject to change; check back for updates prior to the start of OpenEd Week.
In 2022 the LibreTexts project grew to include new technologies like our Commons&Conductor catalog and project management system, our H5P studio, LibreStudio, and the official launch of our open homework and assessment system, ADAPT. Collectively, the technologies that make up the larger LibreVerse reached over half a billion page views in 2022, a milestone we will double in early 2023.
