The LibreTexts team is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Antecedent Writing Analytics.

Dr. Sandra Úsuga is a lecturer of Modern Languages and Cultures at Saint Mary’s College in Indiana. Originally from Colombia, Dr. Úsuga has always strived to serve as a resource, or a bridge, between her students and their community. It is her deeply held belief that access to education is a right, not a privilege, coupled with her ability to identify with LibreTexts Executive Delmar Larsen’s personal story as a first-generation college student, that motivated her to move to OER for her Spanish courses at Saint Mary’s.

Our ADAPT homework system is in the spotlight this month as a key component of the OpenStax Microbiology Ancillary (OSMA) ADAPT Project lead by Ying Liu of City College San Francisco (CCSF) and her team. The original project was funded by the ASCCC OERI and includes 9 instructors from California and Hawaii. The team's first order of business was to create a Canvas shell that included question banks and case studies.

Delmar Larsen, Josh Halpern, and Justin Shorb returned to the Biennial Conference in Chemical Education (BCCE) at University of Kentucky after a four-day series of expo days, talks, and three workshops.

We are excited to announce that we have not one, but two new members of the LibreTexts team joining us this month. First up is our new Director of Curriculum Innovation and Development, Justin Shorb. Justin was previously a member of the LibreTexts team and is responsible for co-organizing the very first LibreFest workshops. He is passionate about curriculum and OER, and is excited to bring his expertise back to the LibreVerse. In his own words:
